How to Read a Services Schedule
Inquit has produced a Guide to Reading WTO Schedules that includes information on the somewhat complex schedules of commitments in the General Agreement on Services (GATS).
The schedules are sometimes neglected by all but WTO specialists. This is a shame. Because they are, in fact, the heart of the contract in the WTO. If you want to know what access obligations or export subsidy obligations a country has accepted, then it's essential to be able to correctly interpret the Schedule of Committments.
